Who is performing at Tu B’Shvat Nature Fest?

Moshav members grew up in Israel playing music together and had their first official show at Jerusalem's Mike's Place in 1996. Since that time, the band has been heard at intimate settings and larger music festivals around the world. Now based in Los Angeles, the band continues to perform for US and international audiences. www.moshavband.com

So what exactly is RAM2 you ask ? For those who do not know, Ram 2 is the name of an Israeli rock band from Los Angeles That plays the best rock music cover that we all grew up on in Israel, such as HAYEHUDIM, Fortis, EIFO HAYELED and more The band was founded 5 years ago and since then appears across the U.S. in the Jewish and Israeli communities. The band's goal was to bring Israeli music that we grew up on to the U.S. Jewish and Israeli community

The OurSpace Voices of Hope / Kolot Tikva Choir
The OurSpace Voices of Hope/Kolot Tikva Choir, led by Hazzan Mike Stein is a choir for children, teens and adults with special needs and special talents. Kolot Tikva choir participants raise their voices in song, while embracing and celebrating their strengths and abilities.
The participants learn and sing songs in both Hebrew and English for the pure joy of singing. The choir has performed at Temple Aliyah, Sinai Temple, Adat Ariel, Shomrei Torah, the Jewish Federation Valley Alliance, Masorti and Camp Ramah Gala events, The Big Jewish Tent, and in the Los Angeles City Hall for the annual Hanukkah Candle Lighting Ceremony.

Will There Be Food At The Fest?

It is a “Jewish” Fest! Right? Of course, there will plenty of food for purchase including food trucks with glatt kosher options, coffee ( really good coffee!!), espressos, cappuccinos, and noshies like popcorn, cotton candy, nature snacks, and more! You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch, too!bar

Will There Be Tree Planting?

Help us plant a new apple orchard at the Shalom Institute! Tree planting will take place every 15 minutes. Also, visit the Jewish National Fund table to learn how to help plant trees in Israel!

From Los Angeles:
Take the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10) west until it turns into Pacific Coast Hwy (Route 1). Continue on PCH for 27 miles to Mulholland Hwy (Just past Leo Carillo State Beach campgrounds). Turn right onto Mulholland Hwy. and go 5 miles. The Institute will be on the right side.

From the San Fernando Valley:
Take the Ventura Freeway (US 101) west to Kanan Rd. Turn left onto Kanan and go 6 miles to Mulholland Hwy. Turn right onto Mulholland Hwy. After 1 mile the road forks-stay to the left onto Encinal Cyn Rd. After 3.5 miles, Encinal will end at Lechusa. Turn right onto Lechusa which will immediately end at Decker Cyn. Rd (23). Turn right onto Decker for ¾ mile to Mulholland Hwy. (stop sign). Turn left onto Mulholland. The Institute is 2.5 miles from this point on the left side.

There will be FREE parking at 33525 W. Mulholland Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265 with shuttles to and from the Fair site.

At Shalom Institute - limited $10 reserved and $20 VIP parking on-site is available and can be reserved when buying tickets.
